Danny was previously an Assistant Coach with the NHL's St. Louis Blues, KHL's CSKA Red Army, AHL's Peoria Rivermen, ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears and NCAA Division 1 Brown University and Western Michigan. "Coach Brooks has an outstanding track record of developing players with a keen eye for talent", Bauer Selects Director Brian Mueller said. "He will bring with |

him a strong culture of high-level expectations that will fit in nicely with Coach Karpa and Coach Aucoin". Most recently, Coach Brooks had 14 of his former or current players participate in the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. Coach Brooks has also worked with over 40 NHL players including Ryan Garbutt (Anaheim), Sean Couturier (Philadelphia) and Ondrej Palat (Tampa). "When dealing with highly motivated and committed Bauer Select athletes it is very important to provide input to help deliver the program that is specific to their development" said Coach Brooks. The Bauer Selects are proud to announce defenseman Bode Wilde has committed to play NCAA Division I college hockey for Harvard. “Bode has consistently been one of the very best defenseman in the entire country the past few years" said Bauer Selects coach Kevin Mann. "There are very few players who can impact both sides of the game (offensively/defensively) with his compete level, mobility, puck-handling and shot. The Bauer Selects congratulate Bode and his entire support family on his college commitment.

BAUER SELECTS BRADY SMITH (2000) commits to the University of Wisconsin
Wisconsin head coach Mike Eaves has secured a verbal commitment from one of the top 2000 defenceman in the country. The Bauer Selects Brady Smith chose Wisconsin over a few other top D1 schools.
"Hands down one of the best 2000 defenseman out there" said his Bauer coach Kevin Mann. "Brady's offensive play has set him apart from the majority of defenseman in the entire country for his age. He's an explosive, smooth, quick skater who is capable of making a great outlet pass, or jumping into the rush. Brady is also one of the strongest players pound for pound and can be a top shut down defenseman as well.
The Bauer Selects would like to congratulate Brady and his parents (Mitch and Jennie) on this opportunity with the University of Wisconsin.
